Collection: Hoof Knives

I have been a farrier for over 30 years, in which time I have collected an assortment of favorite tools. Some years ago, I started making my own hoof knife with a built-in hoof pick for a group of my equine friends. Over time, it turned into a popular tool for many farriers, hoof trimmers, and veterinarians, as my knives are designed to clean out the foot as well as exfoliate the sole with ease.

I offer several different knife styles with ergonomically shaped handles that can be customized with different lengths, and for both left and right handed use. All of my knives are made with hardened steel that is sharpened to perfection, handcrafted by me, here in my Vermont shop. I bet there is one just right for you!
